ABO Trainings

The Authorities Budget Office provides training for Authority board members through a live, interactive webinar that satisfies the requirement of Section 2824 of Public Authorities Law that directors must participate in State approved training. Board Member Training focuses on the legal, fiduciary, financial, and ethical responsibilities of board members. Please visit the Board Member Training page below to learn more and register for training. 

Public Authority Reporting Information System (PARIS) trainings are held online via Webex. This is an optional training geared towards staff responsible for entering information into PARIS. Completion of the PARIS training does not fulfill the training requirement for board members under Section 2824 of Public Authorities Law. PARIS trainings provide in depth information on PARIS including helpful tips and common reporting issues, but the training does not provide one-on-one assistance for PARIS reporting issues. Please visit the PARIS Training page below to learn more and register for training.
